What's included in the free credit
The free credit is not a stripped-down preview. It gives you full access to:
Translation into any of our supported languages and dialects.
Voice cloning of the original speaker — included, no extra credit cost.
Lip-sync — your first lip-sync run per dub is also free, so you can test it on the same video.
Multi-speaker detection if your video has more than one speaker on camera.
All export formats — MP4, MP3, voice-only audio track, and SRT subtitles.
The goal is that what you test is exactly what you'd get on a paid plan.
How to redeem it
Sign up for a Dubly.AI account at dubly.ai. No credit card required.
Verify your email.
Open Create Dub and upload a short video — anything under one minute is ideal.
Choose your target language. The cost preview will show 1 credit, and your balance shows the free credit ready to spend.
Click create. Processing takes 3–5 minutes for most videos. See Processing takes too long if it takes longer.
You can preview the result in the browser before downloading. Lip-sync can be turned on after the first dub finishes — see When should you turn on lip-sync?
Tips for a representative test
The free credit is short. To get a result that actually predicts how Dubly will perform on your real content:
Use a clip from your real workflow, not a stock video. Your speaker, your audio setup, your background music.
Turn on lip-sync if your real videos have an on-camera speaker. The free run lets you test it.

After the free credit
Subscribe to a monthly or yearly plan. Plans include a fixed number of minutes per cycle and unlock multi-user workspaces and priority processing. See Billing and pricing overview for the current options.
Users invited into an existing organization don't get a separate free credit — they share the organization's balance.
Common questions
Can I get more than one free credit?
The free credit is one-time per account. If you want to test more before subscribing, book a call — we're happy to walk through your specific use case live and might be able to offer more free credits.
Does the free credit expire?
No. It sits on your balance until you use it.
Can I use the dubbed video commercially?
Free credits are intended for testing and evaluation purposes only. While you generally own your output, commercial usage is reserved for paid plans. To use your dubbed content for business or monetization, simply switch to a paid plan.
What if my test fails?
Failed dubs are reviewed manually and credits restored where the failure was on our side. Email hello@dubly.ai with the dub title and what went wrong. See Refunds and credit recovery for the details.
Is it allowed to use multiple accounts for testing?
To keep things fair, we limit free credits to one account per user. Creating multiple accounts to bypass these limits is against our terms. However, if our standard trial isn't enough to evaluate Dubly for your specific business case, please contact Sales or schedule a demo. We'd love to find a solution for your larger-scale projects.
